Tailored nanostructures by supersonic cluster beam deposition and non-thermal laser ablation

In this presentation an outline of the results obtained so far in Condensed Matter Physics I-LAMP laboratory of Catholic University in Brescia will be presented, aiming to promote further international collaboration in the framework of International Doctoral School in Science involving catholic universities in Italy, KU Leuven in Belgium, Notre Dame University In USA and Pontificia Universidad Catolica in Chile.

A particular focus will be devoted on the results about bactericidal activity, mechanical and optical properties of metallic, oxides, and metal-core/oxide -matrix nanogranular systems grown by supersonic cluster beam deposition and pulsed laser deposition techniques in the nanoscience lab of catholic university in Brescia.
