Abstract:
In this talk I will present a proof an isoperimetric inequality for the harmonic mean of the first N−1 non-trivial Neumann eigenvalues of the Laplace-Beltrami operator for domains contained in a hemisphere of S^{N}. I will also present an overview of isoperimetric inequalities for Neumann Laplacians. This is joint work with Barbara Brabdolini and Francesco Chiacchio (U. Degli Studi Federico II, Napoli).
