Spectroscopic analysis system

 

Spectroscopic analysis system of photoelectrons emitted by X-rays that allows to obtain superficial information (few nanometers) of the chemical composition and oxidation states of a sample. It is equipped with an XR 50 dual-anode (Al/Ag) X-ray source, a FOCUS 500 monochromator, and a Phoibos 150 hemispherical analyzer.

Applications: It is possible to study various materials, such as polymers, oxides, metal alloys, semiconductors, glasses, ceramics and bio-materials, among others.
